LaunchDarkly’s platform was evolving from a feature flagging tool into a broader runtime control platform designed to manage features, releases, and AI behavior in production. The challenge was to explore how a homepage hero and product section could reflect this expanded platform story, communicate full user control over AI configuration, and create a clearer, more modern way to discover the product.
This was a conceptual exploration with no access to internal teams or detailed brand documentation, focused on marketing surfaces rather than product UI. The work needed to translate complex technical systems into a clear, approachable narrative.
I developed a modular homepage concept centered on runtime control and user governance. The hero used declarative language and abstract system cues, while the product section unified Feature Flags and AI Configurations within a Release, Observe, Iterate framework to modernize product discovery and clarify the platform story.

The hero frames LaunchDarkly as a runtime control platform with an emphasis on full user control over AI behavior. Declarative language and abstract system cues build confidence and trust without over-explaining, setting up the product discovery section below to handle deeper exploration. Subtle motion ideas reinforce the sense of software that can be controlled and observed in real time.
The product section was designed as a modular discovery framework rather than a traditional feature list. Feature Flags and AI Configurations were paired as parallel control surfaces and organized within a Release, Observe, Iterate structure to reinforce the idea of ongoing runtime control. This approach creates a clearer mental model of the platform while allowing users to explore capabilities in a way that feels structured, scalable, and consistent with the story established in the hero.
The final full-page concept brings the narrative and product system together into a cohesive homepage experience. Color, contrast, and visual hierarchy are used to differentiate phases of the platform while maintaining a unified brand language. The result is a marketing surface that feels confident, modern, and structured, reinforcing runtime control not just through messaging, but through the behavior and composition of the page itself.
